In June of 2010, our family relocated to Guatemala
as pioneer Missionaries to establish a new work!
We've have a very busy year!
GO! Ministries 1st Year Update:
- Jul 2010: We brought 12,000 lbs of food to the 200 families near where the Volcano that erupted. (In conjunction with Manna Church of Fayetteville, NC and Bethel Temple Assembly of God of Hampton, VA
- Jul 2010: We built a 4 stall outside bathroom facility and bought tables for “The Kids Club”. (In conjunction with West Fayetteville Baptist Church of Fayetteville, NC)
- Aug 2010: For a family of 17 with 7 orphans: We built a 3rd bedroom, bought new bedding, stove, clothes, medicine, and food.
- Oct 2010: We hosted the “Hallelujah Festival” and bought blankets for approx 200 children that live with no heat, living in tin shacks at 6,500 ft above sea level. Evening Temps can drop into low 40’s. (In conjunction with "The Kids Club" in San Lucas, Sac. Guatemala._
- Dec 2010: We brought 1,250 Christmas presents to children at an orphanage, a dump, and poor villages. (In conjunction with Greenwich Baptist Church (Greenwich, CT) and many private donors.
- Mar 2011: “The Experience” witnessed at a Socialist University, a local elementary school, door to door, and hosted a Friday night evangelistic event. 35 salvations. (In conjunction with Manna Church of Fayetteville, NC)
- Mar 2011: Our Medical Mission Trip treated 800 Mayans. We witnessed to hundreds of people. (In conjunction with Cadets from VMI (Virginia Military Institute), and The Tree Of Life Christian Fellowship (New London, CT))
- Mar 2011: We bought a pig, 50 chickens and built a chicken coop the chicken, which will be used for our feeding program.
- Apr 2011: We brought Easter Dinner to 7 local families.
- Jun 2011: We opened “Inglesia De Mana” (Manna Church of Guatemala). We serve lunch, avg 125 on Sat. Karate and dance classes avg 20 children. English class avg. 30. Weekly VBS avg 35. Total avg attendance on Sat: 250.
- Jun 2011: Raised $800 to help replace local roof at an Elementary School. Portions of the roof have collapsed, causing injuries to students. (In conjunction with Christian Home Academy of Orange Park, FL.)
- Jul 2011: Evangelism at an elementary school, brought food to a family of 10, lunch to 125 people, street evangelism. (In conjunction with Family Fellowship Worship Center of Fayetteville, NC). 119 salvations
- Jul 2011: Evangelism at an elementary school, brought food to 3 families of 13, lunch to 125 people, street evangelism and servant evangelism. (In conjunction with Manna Church of Fayetteville, NC). 326 salvations
- Aug 2011: Evangelism at an elementary school, brought food to a family of 8, lunch to 150 people. (In conjunction with Grace Church of Newport News, VA). 297 salvations
